I'm trying to find out why I get the following message:
Aapache/1.3.24 (Win32) mod_perl/1.27.01-dev running....

Unable to read socket data from parent
This comes about when a specific (custom) module is loaded,
though the module compiles from the command line, and runs
on a near-identical software-setup on a different machine.
Any pointers appreciated.
