Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|trivial |minor --- Comment #1 from Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> --- I see 2 senses: 1. The narrow sense described in ticket #70042 comment #2. This is the definition which sounds most natural to me, although I would argue the actual definition could be a little wider, including variables like SERVER_SOFTWARE. 2. The wider sense defined in the RewriteCond Directive section, which includes variables like REMOTE_HOST. #1 applying to a subset of #2, #1 would be a hyponym of #2. The CGIVar Directive and FallbackResource Directive sections attest #2, which confirms that httpd uses "server variable" as a autohyponym which I would consider quite confusing. The risk of confusion is high and pointing to a definition of at least the intended sense would be a minimum. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
