Yes, it is a part of the primary key. However, this is not the expected
behavior and fields should not be added to the results set. In this simple
query I have written as an example, there's no excuse (IMHO) for adding
category_id to the results set. This wrong behavior incurs an obvious
performance penalty (in addition to delivering unexpected results).
