Yes, that was the bug and linked blog from where I picked up that " TDF
put up a tender to improve the situation with image handling".

I can't believe this obviously broken code got past alpha and finished
up in a release.

Unfortunately, your steps do not work for me. The image properties
dialog offers "relative to", but there is no "autosize" option. I have
seen the "autosize" option when editing previously inserted images, but
not on a first insert.
