I'm not agree for accountancy accountancy will be a stable module (I hope) in 4.0 and it's a big up I know a lot of companies who won't use dolibarr because of the lack of accountancy Accountancy is the first core module produced by crowdfunding (an another big up)
Structural change are good for coder not for companies (but I agree we need structural change and also take care of a good migration between version) Companies who use dolibarr, want useful features (and I have a big list of it) (Sorry for my pooor english tonight, I need to sleep) 2016-04-21 18:35 GMT+02:00 Charles Benke <[email protected]>: > SOOORRRY > > > > I’m not agree to call this version 4.0, for me it’s just a 3.10. > > This version is not a major version because we have > > - No structural change in the database (uniformising of > principal fields name ex : ‘numfac’ instead ‘ref’ > > - No really news feature (accountancy and multicurrency are > present in previous version as experimental module or additional module) > > - No structural change in the code management (MVC structure, > folders, …) > > > > call this version 4.0 is not honest > > > > Bien cordialement, > > Charlie Benke > > > > *De :* Dolibarr-dev [mailto:dolibarr-dev-bounces+charles.fr=benke.fr@non > gnu.org] *De la part de* Laurent Destailleur (aka Eldy) > *Envoyé :* jeudi 21 avril 2016 18:17 > *À :* ML Dolibarr dev <[email protected]> > *Objet :* [Dolibarr-dev] Freeze 4.0 > > > > Time to freeze the development branch for Dolibarr 4.0 has come. > I will probably make the freeze between this week-end end and next one, > meaning we are very soon entered the beta period of 4.0. > As usual, "started development" are allowed to be continued, even on not > stable modules, until finished (this include work on accountancy, > multicurrency or website module) but new features will often be suspended > until the branch for 4.0 is created. > Also, architecture, reenginering, or best practice code enhancements will > be discarded during this period. > > Css change may also be made to enhance a little bit the responsive > behaviour and of course fixes are very welcome. > > Laurent. > > _______________________________________________ > Dolibarr-dev mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/dolibarr-dev > > -- *Olivier Geffroy**Consultant Informatique* Ma dernière vidéo : Comment sauvegarder son Dolibarr ? <https://youtu.be/Y7NJnmaiKd4> *-------------------------------------* *Jeffinfo SARL* *29 rue de la Gare 59320 Ennetieres en Weppes* *[email protected] <[email protected]>Gsm : 0608632740**Skype : darkj3ff*
