Eh. I still prefer the list use a Reply-To header for ease of use.
Most replies should probably go back to the list anyway, if not that's
when to change the To address.

My email reader has this nifty little Reply, Reply to All, and Reply to
Selected buttons. It also has a Mailling List Manager and one of it's
features is that a warning pops up with a "Are you sure you want to mail
this to the list" box. I can also auto-code the folder to Compose and
Reply to the list. So, for me, no it's not a requirement.

But I would much rather it have an appropriate Reply-to header than
have to change all the settings at this end. But hey, it's whatever the
list members want, or more appropriately what the list owners want.

But in reference to RFCs, it's the very RFC-822, section 4.4.3, that
states that mailling lists is one of the three reasons that the Reply-To
feild was created. a.k.a. "text message teleconferencing"

------------from RFC-822:
4.4.3. Reply-To / Resent-Reply-To

This field provides a general mechanism for indicating any
mailbox(es) to which responses are to be sent. Three typical
uses for this feature can be distinguished. In the first
case, the author(s) may not have regular machine-based mail-
boxes and therefore wish(es) to indicate an alternate machine
address. In the second case, an author may wish additional
persons to be made aware of, or responsible for, replies. A
somewhat different use may be of some help to "text message
teleconferencing" groups equipped with automatic distribution
services: include the address of that service in the "Reply-
        To" field of all messages  submitted  to  the  teleconference;
then participants can "reply" to conference submissions to
guarantee the correct distribution of any submission of their own.
-------------

But hey, whatever the mass membership wants. Just thought I'd mention
it.
