If my host is .ca for example, will I have to do something for other registries (.com et al). Do I have to "add" again this name server to foreign registries.
You only need to modify .ca registry where the glue is. The WHOIS will be incorrect in other registries (well most notably .COM/.NET) but this is entirely cosmetic.
