It's a few years ago since I've seen a check :-). It was one from the US and the cashier looked very suspiciously at it. The fees were something like $10 plus a fixed percentage. Encashing checks has become even more uncommon now and probably also more expensive. What kind of revenues do you expect from domains that are above average but not in the top league?
