Well you had better not get involved with rregistering .it domains then!
It all has to be done by fax.
I ahve been trying to do one since Thursday.
Progress so far:

1. Generated the "Letter of Assumption of Responsibility" in Italian and 
sent to customer so he can sign it in duplicate.
2. Got it back on Saturday and faxed it to Italy.
3. Returned as not valid on Monday by Italian Registry (this happnes a lot 
and sometimes refaxing it works).
4. Refaxed twice and rejected another two times with no explanation.
5. Just generated a new letter and am trying to refax it but their fax 
number has been enagaged for the past two hours.

Now, I am not complaining, because I have been soing these for years and I 
know the system well, but I think it might come as a bit of a culture shock 
to OpenSRS resellers when they come to do one!
