The lawful and regular activities in the US don't require a physical
presence, e.g. they can be performed via the internet or other methods,
so you could register the name.

Subject: [domains-gen] Foreign Registration of .US

Hi,

The clause on .US registration for foreign organizations reads as
follows:

"A foreign organization that regularly engages in lawful activities
(sales
of goods or services or other business, commercial, or non-commercial,
including non-profit relations) in the United States."

I was basically trying to find out if a UK business trading (sales of
goods/commercial) with the US can get a .US domain (without a US address
or
US legal entity). I'm guessing no but would like to get the definitive
answer.

Best Regards,

Nick
