Microsoft is also now using SRV to get IM interoperability with different IM systems and Exchange Server. We recently had a customer ask for SRV support, we did a bit of background research, and found it was very easy to implement. Less than seven days later we had a fully developed and tested SRV feature added to our DNS hosting. I've said this many time before about trying to outsource DNS and e-mail to a third party while trying to provide your own support to customers. Being flexible and able to quickly respond to customer requests is another advantage of hosting your own DNS and e-mail and this is just one example of that. _______________________________________________ domains-gen mailing list [email protected] http://discuss.tucows.com/mailman/listinfo/domains-gen
