OK Rog, you put me to it. I'm thinking this is from Without You, live, circa
1973... Tommy would break into an impromptu singing/rap there in the middle
of the tune... I heard him do this (on Without You) on his solo tour in
1983... he went into a long extended story about a card game in a wild west
town and how the whole thing turns into a shootout... it was great, and it
seemed it rolled right off the top of his head... he went on with this for
like 5 minutes... never heard him sing anything remotely close to those
lyrics again.
