guys!
Here in the UK, I
listen to BBC Radio 2, and the DJ Johnnie Walker in particular. He's on air from
5pm-7pm weekdays. Tonight, while I was driving home at about 6pm he said there
were new singles out by Bob Dylan and also The Doobie Brothers - he'd be
"playing them before 7pm". (I'd like to think I had something to do with the
latter, but I can't tell.....).
Anyway I rushed home
in a rather excited state to put a cassette in my deck to record any comments he
had to say about the new single. He played Bob Dylan as
promised......
Unfortunately 7
o'clock came and he never got round to playing People Gotta Love
Again. Boo-hiss!
Maybe
tomorrow.......
If any of my
UK Doobie-friends happen to catch the show tomorrow, please let me know if
he plays the single - I'd hate to pester him more after he plays it and I
miss it!
