It looks like we're going to have a fight on our hands and I'm ready for
battle! Here's the response I got this morning from imix:
Greetings,
Thank you for your order. In order for you to have the ability to jump
to the next track on the CD the record company needed to have sound
breaks in between each track. All we have are the individual tracks and
not the full concert performance. Unfortunately, there is no way for us
to correct this.

This is WRONG! There IS a way to correct it but I don't think they want
to address it. First, I am very familiar with burning CD's and I
understand the technology and I use it often. Individual tracks can be
placed adjacent to each other WITHOUT gaps. I do it all the time when I
make live CD's from tapes. I use software that allows me to do
"disc-at-once" mastering. This means I can place each track next to each
other and set the gap to ZERO seconds.
Although they don't have "the full concert performance", it shouldn't
matter. I am going to burn a CD of the show myself and send it to them
and show them that it CAN be fixed. I'm using a cheap $400 consumer
burner with a $99 software program. How come they can't fix it with
their expensive pro equipment yet I can?!!! I'm not very happy and
they're going to know my name pretty well in the next few days!
