Looking back, I realize that my fussing might have been viewed as looking a gift horse in the mouth, biting the hand that feeds you, etc. I just couldn't believe that what I was hearing was what the Brothers intended. But if I ticked off any of the FC, or worse, and God forbid, any of the Brothers, I do apologize. It was certainly not my intention to appear ungrateful. I've been extremely lucky to be able to hear the Brothers alot in the last 3 years, and I guess I've gotten spoiled hearing them live, and was dying for a current live recording.
The willingness of the Brothers to jump into the deep end of the pool
with the internet distribution of the new and live tunes; their willingness
to get back involved to be sure the fans are getting what they should,
even when they surely have bigger fish to fry - just continues to prove
that no one cares more about their music or their fans, then The Doobie
Brothers.
