Saratoga:
The winery is nestled in the beautiful, lush hills of Saratoga with the
sweet smell of the pine trees and the gorgeous sight from the top of the
mountain that takes your breath away as you wait for the Doobies to take
the stage. The wind tickles your neck as you pull your sweetheart close
during South City Midnight Lady. (South City is SAN JOSE, BTW!;) The
stars shine bright on every smiling fan club member as they breathe in
the fresh cool air of paradise and groove to the beat. This my friends
is the HOME of the annual Fan Club Convention.
Los Angeles:
You're LATE! The traffic was an absolute mess! The choking smog fills
the arena and you can barely see the stage. The heat is stifling, and
the sweat on Tommy's face is burning my eyes, not to mention his! ;) The
crowd is cranky and if you stand to dance, you'll be shot. (Gangs and
all... ;) Did I mention it's HOT? Your sweetheart yells, "LET GO OF ME!
It's too damn hot for that!" The band ends the show after 30 minutes
because of the conditions...
Okay, so LA sounds fun! But I live an hour away from Saratoga and that's
why I'm voting with Northern California! ;)
