Smart, very smart. And they have received some negativity over that as well.
Sighted for being corporate rock and not staying true ONLY to the music.
Those naysayers are idiots. My favorite band are also financial wizzards. I
love that.

I think Roger pretty much nailed it, at least from what I've seen and heard,
and read. 

The really cool thing, is that The Brothers were sharp at the business and
finance aspect of things right from the start.  They had, and still have a
manager who is clearly one of the best.  While other bands were going broke,
and filing lawsuits against their managers for stealing all their money, The
Doobros Corp. was buying up Bay Area real estate, and making other
investments.  Pretty shrewd operators, yes indeed.
