I really enjoyed the show. It is always interesting to hear the history of the band in there own words, not through a 3rd person. Sheri Lakind really tugged at my heart...as did Keith...Little John looked great in a coat and tie...Skunk's quote at the end was a highlight...yes, the Doobies have done something to touch many people's lives. I especially enjoyed seeing JR's pictures of Tommy from the Tempe, AZ show 1974 (Tommy with dark shades and the brilliant blue sky in the background). I know JR submitted his famous (or infamous) "Streakers" photos to BTM and was sad to see those didn't make it into show (especially given the band moons the camera not once but twice during the show). Several of Joe's photos were in the show as well...excellent work... Doobie Dan...what can you say about the man. Dan shows up at BTM with a van loaded front-to-back, top-to-bottom with Doobies memorabilia. Natalie Aaron (the segment producer) was just in awe (just ask Geoff Bellew, he was there). I saw many of the items Dan donated to the cause in the show. I'm jus' sorry that Rick's video from Saratoga 2000 didn't make it into the show...that would have been just WAY TOO COOL! Thanks for submitting it though... What did I contribute? The albums and CDs...a coupla other things that didn't make the cut (like the booklets for Saratoga 2000). As for a LW "biography", well, it would probably be a good read on those nights when ya just can't seem to fall asleep..."Hmm, where's the Unisom? Oh, wait, "The Biography of Laurin Willis"...this'll do just fine!" We'll see... The show was excellent but WAY TOO SHORT! 90 mins AT A MINIMUM was necessary, 2 hour woulda been PERFECT Of course, this is a video that is doomed to a very short life...it'll be worn out in a couple of weeks...
