She along with the other Producers couldn't believe what was going on at that convention. They loved the shots I took of people like Helen and Ann and the happpiness on their faces as they met Tommy or any of the other doob's for the first time. Steve Adams and his beautiful wife are grinning ear to ear as they meet the Doobies and the look on Rick's face as he wins the chance to sing on stage is just priceless. The shot of Doobie Dan's shock and excitement when he won the autographed guitar is a historic and very moving moment that I'm glad I captured on tape. They really wanted to do a segment on the fan club, but there just wasn't enough time to fit it in. The entire show was under 45 minutes because of commercial time. Hey, this should have been a PBS special! We don't have commercials so our program length is 56:46! :) That's more than ten more minutes of quality material! Rest assured that the footage is in the hands of the producers of "Fan Club". I'll be on the phone with them pestering them daily until they get shots of this fine Fan Club's members in that show. NOBODY has a better Fan CLub than the Doobie Brothers! :))))) About the video I shot. I know it's waaaaaaay overdue and I owe everyone an apology for that. I am busy beyond belief and it's so hard to be working with video all day at work and then come home and fire up the computer and well, work with video all night! But I promise I will get it out to you BEFORE the next convention. I just upgraded my editing system and should be able to put it together very soon. This video will make those who attended the convention pretty happy when they see themselves doing silly things as they get autographs from their heroes. ;) And those that weren't there will know what they are missing. I'll get it finished in time to drum up some excitement about this years convention.
