Excellent work, Rick. Congratulations! Nice to hear about Doobie Brother listing on your stuntcar, too. Doobies Rule, Steve Post Script: Don't let Debra ride in that one. Hee-hee. << CONGRATULATIONS TO RICK SEAMAN for being nominated for an award tonight by the Motion Picture Asscoiation for Stuntmen. Sorry I don't know the exact title of the show. I know I'll be watching it on JUNE 17 when it's broadcast....cuz I'll be at your house for the convention. Let us know if you have any DOOBIE BROTHERS, past or prensent out there today. Peace...... Holly J =D "... Thanks for the compliments sista! The race went great! It was a lot of fun. I did eliminate a stuntman and went into the finals in the "A" race but, a guy in a faster car got me. Oh well, next time. I couldn't race the "B" race because I had to get in the motor home for a shower for the night out on the town. I had fun and I think that's all the matters although winning is fun too :) Shad Meshad and the NVF were out there and I think they really enjoyed the show we put on. Shad was kind of shocked to see I had my own car out there. You know how he gets all excited. No Doobies though past or present. (Maybe someday we can get Skunk in a car. I know he loves that stuff. He told me once that he went through some kind of federal training and can stunt drive). I do have to clarify one thing just so you all know that I talked to Keith Knudsen about the logo and web address for clearance going on my car. He picked the logo and it looks excellent. (It's the eagle logo that's on the FC jackets). It was hand painted on the car and looks exactly like the real thing. I had to sign a waiver so that the Doobie Brothers and anyone associated with them would not be held responsible if I or anyone got hurt while racing my car. The race will be televised soon on "American Adventure" which IS a national televised show so I'll let you know when it will be on. The camera man did an interview with me and also took video of my car so guarantee you'll see the logo and web address. We went to the "World Stunt Awards" last night. Rick was nominated for a jump he did in "Charlies Angels" doubling Bill Murray. It was pretty stiff competition!! Unfortunately Rick did not win the "Taurus" award but, he was honored to be in the running. They had this set up just like the "Academy Awards" from the red carpet to BIG TIME celebs presenting awards, including MC Alec Baldwin, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sharon Stone, Jackie Chan, Michael Keaton, Chuck Norris, Burt Reynolds and the list goes on. The "World Stunt Awards" will be aired on JUNE 16th on ABC at 9/8c. Anyway, sorry for the long read. Have a Doobieful Day!
