Although I joined Dorset LUG some time ago, I have never been able to get to a meeting. However Blandford being only 10 mins away means I can definitely get there. So I say go for it. As a note to those out in the East. I always drove (every day on contracts) the 3 Legged cross - holt road - which is mainly 40 mph but is so quiet (relatively speaking) that you can maintain the speed all the way. At the Horton Inn, do a dog leg coming out on the Salisbury - Blandford road a lot closer than 6d Handley.
