However, had Examples been restored to ~/.shotwell you'd surely expect to find it there, and I am assuming that Peter in trying to delete Examples wasn't especially keen to restore it! That said, we all know what assumptions give birth to, so I guess the important thing to do here is not to panic and to take one step at a time.
