Job Title: Sr. QA Tester
Location: Cranston, RI
Duration: 3 months
Position details:
. Ideal candidate will possess a very strong understanding of all
testing processes and methodologies.
. Experience in the financial/banking industry working with data
warehousing or operational data stores is a plus.
. Must be able to provide overall coordination to the testing phase
of the project, including creating/following a test strategy and test plan
to meet milestones and escalate issues that cause roadblocks
. Will be responsible for enforcing a defect resolution process and
leading defect review meetings
. Knowledge in HP Quality Center preferred: candidate will need to
work closely with testers to load, organize, and maintain test scripts; and
monitor and report on script execution and defect status
. Will be able to perform general project admin duties including:
scheduling meetings, publishing meeting agendas and notes, keeping team
distribution lists and distributing materials to team. Manage action
items/issues log.
General Skills :
. Good analytical ability, judgment, writing and communication
skills
. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with
others
. Must be able to work independently and learn and assimilate
information quickly
. Strong command of English Language
