Nice to be of help Hasan, you do not have to set loopback to false. I have pasted a copy of my own smppsim.props at
http://pastebin.com/ip22r1Ft Please note that the only thing you need to change to whatever you like are below: SMPP_PORT=5018 SYSTEM_ID=yoursystemidPASSWORD=yourpasswordSMSCID=SMSC1Use this same values for other config files like the props.mo file Thank you Chikelue --- On Tue, 5/10/11, Md. I’ve got according to your suggestion from this location http://sites.google.com/site/freesmsuk/smpp and stared working on it. Your second concern was the configuration file of SmppSim, Yes I was in little confusion on that matter. I’m using WireShark to monitor its activity. Basically, I’ve set the loopback property True to check my client application. Message input through MO inject (Web UI) and through the client software it self. I’m just following the Selenium SmppSim, user guide. I’ve little confusion on the Outbound properties on its configuration file and its process of working. So, If I’m not in right path, please correct my way. Finally, thank you once again. Be well. It is well implemented and works well with the Selenium SmppSim Simulator that you are using. It the library that I have been using for every smpp implementations that I have ever worked on and it is good. It is no longer under development but you can still search online to see if you can still find individually hosted copies. If you can't find any, please let me know, so that I can help you out. Remember that you have to ensure that your SmppSim config files are setup up for receiving sms. You will also need to wire up your smpp receive Event to the right event handler to receive incoming sms messages. Thank you. Chike --- On Mon, 5/9/11, Md. Recently I'm working on SMPP based desktop based client application development. I used first EasySMPP, Its quite good for sending SMS but, unable to receive through that project. The simulator I'm using to test my project "SMPPsim". Finally I have download a tool from jamaasmpp.codeplex.com this location and found a good performance, sorry to say that its not customizable (as it provide me DLL) and have faced some problem in receiving SMPP based message. I found some packets drop, unable to find the reason why its occurring. So, If you have any suggestion to mitigates this kind of scenario, it will be grateful.I still preferred EasySMPP for both sending and receiving, as it is open code. If you feel you have such experience to work with, pls share.
