I use SQLite. There is an available .NET assembly that make access quite simple an easy. It stores the data in a local file and uses most of the standard SQL language.

Hi,
I'm working on a personnal project to make it easy to follow my budget. I'd like to share it with some friends of mine, and since they don't have any DB installed on their computer, I'd prefer to store datas in files, or other types of database. I've read some post over the Internet saying that XML would be good, but I'm not sure and I never worked with XML before. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank for your help!
