Great, you got enough information. My experience with fonts is that
there is currently no font that can be used for every language. Elisa,
who takes part to our project, told me that there is a Linux font
(DéjàVu?) that tries to address this issue. However the version in
Debian currently doesn't work with Indian and Burmese fonts for example.
I faced this issue with the installer and the keyboard layout preview.

The only working solution is then to use the default system font. This
can be an issue without any solution for games if they want to show a
funny font.

I'm not a professional programmer either. I'll try to look at the source
code soon at least to know what language and libraries they're using.

Weird… The official CD should have the issue in my opinion. Sergey, you
can confirm?

Yes, I don't like this kind of solution either. We may need to let this
game in English in the end, instead of showing erroneous texts.
