Yeah, well, you may still want to investigate why Exim would need more
than 30s for mail submission. That is a really ridiculous amount of time
for just 10Mb.

Your sieve filter is executing sendmail, and this is taking over 30
seconds to complete. Perhaps find out why this happens?

i am agree is an ancient version of Dovecot but i think dovecot is
great
and working for sieve-filter, dovecot-lda and 10MB mail attachment :)
and actual version is 2.4.1 not 3.x.x so 2.3.13 not VERY ancient on
number version but 4 years ;)

2.3.13 (89f716dc2)
This is very ancient version of Dovecot. Also it took 30 seconds
to send the mail with sendmail and wasn't even finished. Maybe the
problem lies there?
