There are 2 issues if anyone considers using external and not local RBLs: 1) Speed/connectivity depending on where you are. The total response of all RBLs used should be under 10ms if possible 2) FPs. You don’t control what is on anyone’s list so you may be forced to whitelist and that makes things more complex.
A well trained local list would be much faster, way more reliable with no packet loss, and extremely more accurate with close to 0 FPs. My local RBL gets at least 95% hits with 0 FPs and of course it is way faster and reliable for me as I control it.
