Maybe. I guess I took 'removing' and 'commenting out' to mean the same
thing. The text should probably just be rewritten to say "...without
removing it or commenting it out in aliases.txt. Be aware that this change
will be overwritten by later installs." I'd still keep the blurb about it
being fixed later.
It seems like there should be a way to remove an alias in my preferences.
Maybe something as simple as:
disabledAliases = { ",,", "<<" };
Dunno. Shooting from the hip.
One can disable a search (from the help box), which undefines both the
search and any aliases to it, but that's more than just undefining an alias.

Right. That was a recent addition that just got left out. Go ahead and
correct it if you want.
