Hi all,
I've been too busy skiing to give it much thought but
here's my two cents:
aliases in xml: yes
preferences in xml: no
The aliases have fixed information and we should have
a gui to edit them but even if we don't I think it
makes the aliases more readable. I'm always having to
refer to the top of the localaliases file to remember
what field does what. The xml way would describe each
field by the tags.
The preferences is like Shawn says just pure
javascript and I think the way we're doing it
currently is fine.
Anyhow, just my thoughts, I'm off to the ski hill...
