Hello all, I committed a change last week for working with the maximized.htm that may break using alternative browsers (firefox, mozilla, netscape - whatever) and would like someone to test it out for me. We can always go back, but I want to know if this fix works first.
More info here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=686736&grou p_id=42081&atid=432066 Basically, I applied a modified version of the code submitted by "nobody" & "anonymous2" to load either an empty window or the default htm file first by referencing the window as a variable, then it obj.open(theurl)'s the URL. It's only a minor change, really, but I don't know how it'll affect people not using IE as their default browser. I'd test it myself, but the last time I changed default browsers it screwed up my icons really bad (nearly as bad as when I installed Frontpage 2003 so I could walk some people through using it's site management functions), and I'm still trying to fix some of them. I just don't understand how it could have screwed up everything as quickly as it did. Soooo... If you use a browser other than IE as your default, can you test out the new defer_tools.js from CVS?
