I have developed a fault in my TR7 relating to the UP/DOWN counters. If I leave the rig on say 3.750 and switch off, when I next switch on frequently it reads 2.750. Using the up/down buttons I can obtain only 2.250, 2.750 and 3.250 but not 3.750.
This type of error is repeated on all the other bandswitch positions. If I leave the rig running, sometimes is will revert to the correct mode. I assume this may be due to a problem with one of the 4 bit counters on the DR7 board. I thought it would be a good idea to ask here if anyone had experienced the same fault, before opening up the rig. Thanks in advance.
