Garey, I changed out the meter shunt resistor-it was high and meter was showing higher plate idling current than what I actually had. Also changed out the screen resistors as one of them was 110 ohms and the other was 76 ohms. Cathode resistors are both 17 ohms, and I left them in for the time being. Neutralization went well, and believe all will be OK. It looks like the whole problem may have been caused in the AC-4 when C5 and probably C3 (leaking) went south. Anyhow, the matched Sylvania 6JB6As from RF parts are doing a good job. Thanks again for your and everyone else's help and encouragement.
