Look at the INJ cable and see if it has white insulation in the connectors. The originals also had a tag on ONLY the INJ cable, and did NOT use RG-62.
RG-62 will work, but is heavy, stiff and larger than the correct cable.
If you have a capacitance meter of some sort available, you can check the capacitance of the cables and compare them with the values in the note you referenced.
If you align the pair (actually only the INJ trimmer adjustments) with the cables connecting them together you will find only slightly less drive available to the transmitter when running transceive with receiver PTO control if you use standard audio patch cable for the INJ line.

I have a R-4B and T-4XB and it came with a set of what looks like original interconnecting cables. They are all look like gray microphone connector cable with RCA jacks and with tags on them that look as if they were from the mfgr. I have read the INJ cable needs to be an RG-62. I was a bit confused by the set.
I found this note: http://www.mail-archive.com/drakelist@www.zerobeat.net/msg02354.html
This note appears to say you don't need the RG-62 if the sets are aligned with the other cable. Am I better off getting the RG-62 cable?
Thanks
