first.

I don't recall specifically when I repaired mine, but this seems low. I
would replace all the electrolytic caps on this board as a preventative
measure, at least. When they go bad, strange things can happen. Use
good quality caps rated for 105C temperature.
Beyond that, I would recommend searching the Drakelist archives,
various display problems have been covered before in good detail.
