"Al Parker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi folks,
I corresponded with Frank a few yrs ago, and he alowed me to put his
URL (changed it now to http://k5dkz.home.comcast.net/ ) on a page
with a collection of comments on the conversion to 6146's
My site is:
http://www.boatanchors.org
the deep link is
http://www.boatanchors.org/6146Drake.htm
I've never tried it, probably won't until 6JB6's become unobtainium,
unless I try it on a very rough condition rig and not worry about resale
value.
I've tried a cupla 6JG5's with less than great success, after Garey
recommended them to me 5-6 yrs ago. Recently got some more, have yet to
evaluate them in a rig, tho' they all test well.
