I had a strange event occur today. I usually have the rig set so that
the RV7 controls the TR7 as it is more stable then the internal PTO (not
that either is that bad). I was set this way, and suddenly the net
control station sounded like it was drifting rather fast up and down. I
thought maybe it was the station, but then another station did the seem
thing. When I went to the internal PTO things seemed okay. Went back to
the RV7 and it was like a DVD movie when the audio/video goes "pixelized".
Kind of digital disturtion sounding. Swapped back and forth again to
compare and everything seemed to clear up. It ran fine for about an hour
after this and then I had to leave. Have not tried it since. This all
started about 15 minutes after the rig was turned on. Rig had set for
about 1 week.
This has happened only this once. But I was wondering if anyone had seen
this type behavior. I would prefer to cut it off before it becames
something bigger.
