A T-4XB I refurbished recently has developed a problem. when it engages in Transmit, it will not RELEASE THE RELAY. The unit is being used with hardwired PTT, and apparently no settings of the VOX gain or ANTI-VOX have changed anything. He did purchase and install a NOS 6EV7, with no change. Apparently, when switching from EXT MUTE to ON or STANDBY will cause the relay to drop and return to receive mode, so it isn't a sticking relay.
