I once installed the R-4B passband tuning assembly/filter in my 2-B with
excellent results. Therefore I should think it would be possible to do the
same with the R-4 receivers except for the R-4C which doesn't use that
system.

Subject: [drakelist] PBT selector board - R4B

Does anyone know if the passband width selector switch and its attached
circuit board of capacitors in an R4B can be replaced with one from an
R4? Or for that matter, if the entire R4 passband tuner assembly along
with the switch can be swapped into the R4B? (T9 assembly on the
schematics). Same frequency, and circuit context is similar.

Thanks and 73,

Neil
