With the key UNPLUGGED (or plugged in, key down or key up) in SSB mode if I hit the PTT button, I *hear* the relay click but the rig stays in receive mode. I've tried this with two mics just to be sure. And, with the key UNPLUGGED, if I select Tune from CW mode I do get tune function (tx was already in transmit mode due to key down condition). But, if I was in SSB mode and select Tune I do NOT get tune function. The problem could still be cockpit error -- I just don't use SSB.
