There was a post on one of the reflectors a couple weeks ago regarding
yellowing of plastic like what is used on some computers.  You can make it look
as new by dunking the plastic

in a solution of water mixed with Oxyclean and Hydrogen Peroxide.  The plastic
comes out as new.  Plastic turns yellow from ultra violet light which can come
in windows and from fluorescent lighting.

Subject: [ Drakelist ] Drake 7077 Mic

I have a Drake 7077 mic that is in good working condition and its physical
appearance is normal except for the yellowed PTT /Lock keys and the ring around
the mic head. Is there any way I can get the plastic back to its original color
(I assume it was white)? Or just leave it alone?

Thanks!
