I use the 500 Hz filter and it is more than adequate; Inrad makes excellent products.

I've got the 400hz InRad (I think that's it) and it's quite narrow. I can't imagine needing more narrow than that.

I note no excessive loss with the 400hz Inrad or the 500hz Drake...
