Sorry for delay. Been a couple of hectic days, hope to get to Post Office today
and maybe pick up the RV-75. Gary , the Drake CD guy was kind enough to e-mail
the RV-75 owner manual, There is a missing plug involved, perhaps only a RCA
plug?, and a small errata involving the model # of [lug unit, 1544 and 1544
both being used. I understand the clone cane be made, but that it won't allow
full function on R7/R7A with AUX 7 installed. Likely won't be any kind of
immediate problem, still haven't gotten to set up and test the E-bay TR7 3k
range, $238 plus shipping, from a Seattle charity auction, missing most cover
screws, heavy coating of unfingerprinted dust under the hood (NICE!) and Aux7
with 500-1500, 1&2, and 60 meters 8. 12, 17, 30 incoming. Nice power supply
from the board, and radio contains full filter bank, 2.3, 1.8, 1k and 500, late
2nd IF and noise blanker, generic fan, needs only small pa board, now in hand.
Managed to step on blue led for the vfo, so need to replace that! Just got 2nd
connector to enable hookup from W7 and 1k dummy load for transmit test. Hoping
for the best.
R7 speaker doesn't work, looks like the Drake 4 line speaker will be the
candidate, since one is loose. Looking for SP-75 next.

The poly product is PL Polyurthane Roof & Flashing Sealant, product No.
P73266125, high tech stuff, replaced unavailable steering damper bushing on My
F250 4wd 1977, and glued back the dust boot on the clutch rod. Used up 22
tubes on roof 3 tab shingles in the tabs, had worn down through and leaking,
plans to follow up with the "CA latex roof paint" designed for quickie cosmetic
roof color change, ran out of good weather. It's really roof replacement time,
but... www.stichwithpl.com is site listed on the carton. Home Depot can
special order.

Figure on a 48 hour cure time. This stuff is high stickiness adhesion, so mold
may need some release agent, perhaps spray silicone?

I have need for a Drake DC cord for SPR-4, and the two pin plug on the R4B, for
starters. I have 1 tube of this stuff left.

I can't seem to get copy of mails I send drakelist in my mailbox, but just this
morning, learned my netscape spam filter is working, since 4 of the chinese
soured ones, as well as a good drakelist posting ended up there.

I would appreciate you forwarding this to Drake list folks, others may be
interested also, and getting a message through is hit or miss, mostly miss I
think! trying cc on this as you can see.

Great stuff Ken- the rV-75 has to be the buy of the decade. I saw one asking
$2100 recently. I sold mine several years back for $850. Still have the
Drake preliminary manual for it.

Do you have a product name for the moldable poly? I would be VERY interested
in this.
I did make a small mold of the Collins S line leather like front panel many
years back. I sue it to backfill holes on the front panels.
Gotta run. I am burning in the Paragon from hell. If one more thing fails in
this (10/10 collector quality) Paragon, I'll be burning it.
One of my 1296MHz EME buddies lives in Bucksport- south of Bangor(?). He has
an interest in firearms too- wonder if you know K1RQG?
