Forgot to mention it, but I have a set of stereo NC headphones that I rarely use because they are ultra-cheapo made in China plastic, $20 on closeout at a Menard's of all places. What I do use when I need it is a Telex Airman NC avionics headset. It's always a big hit at field day, it reduces the low frequency noise from the generator to almost nothing. It's amazing what it will do in a supposedly "quiet" house. 73 -Jim -- Ham Radio NU0C Lincoln, Nebraska, U.S.S.A.
