Hi Garey, Before I solder it in want to pull all the tubes before I turn it on again. Then look at the various caps like C76 C78 and then recheck the tubes for shorts and try it again. Who knows why it blew the fuse and have no idea what the history is on the radio. I did find the pot for the gain control on/off switch it was a Junker T4X and it was mailed yesterday to me. 73 Gary ----- Original Message ----- *From:* Garey Barrell <mailto:k4...@mindspring.com> *To:* GARY ELLIOT <mailto:k...@msn.com> *Cc:* drakelist@zerobeat.net <mailto:drakelist@zerobeat.net> *Sent:* Thursday, October 13, 2011 12:36 PM *Subject:* Re: [Drakelist] Drale Fuse Gary - The other alternative is to mount one of the little single fuse blocks that mounts with a single hole. Then takes regular fuses. But unless you have a short on the filament line you should never blow another one. 73, Garey - K4OAH St Charles, IL Drake 2-B, 2-C/2-NT, 4-A, 4-B, C-Line and TR-4/C Service Supplement CDs <www.k4oah.com <http://www.k4oah.com>> GARY ELLIOT wrote: > Greetings, > Trying to find a source for the 8 Amp fuse with pig tails that solders > into the filament string on the T4XB.
