Can you manually set LD_PRELOAD to the full path? Thank you for quick answer and help with LD_PRELOAD command. Unfortunately, i will do this in saturday, i will not be able to perform this test earlier. Today i've performed the test giving to LD_PRELOAD command the exact location of glxtrace.so but it doesn't work either, because it still points to "/usr/bin/../$LIB/apitrace/wrappers/glxtrace.so" path. I didn't have sufficient time to pinpoint the problem. Here is more of less how i writed the command: LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/glxtrace.so apitrace trace --api gl steam Steam has launched, but the error of LD_PRELOAD was the same. Maybe i've wroted something wrong? And one more thing... The path to the glxtrace.so is totaly hypothetical, i'm on my laptop now and i don't have access to the computer where test was performed. If you have any suggestions, write to me.
