I can only comment on this.

AMD-750 (760/760MP with DDR-SDRAM support) is the name for the whole chipset.
AMD-751 (761) System Controller (Northbridge); AGP, etc.
AMD-756 (766) Peripheral Bus Controller (Southbridge); IDE, etc.
