A quick look at any of the reviews for the Radeon VE will point out that there is a very significant difference between the VE and other Radeons. The VE is intended to do dual head with just a little bit of game potential. It looks like one of two rendering pipelines are gone. The memory bus is reduced from 128 bit to 64 bit.
