 You should do your own research. The Radeon VE does not have T&L, and
neither does the laptop Radeon chip. Even if you had a Radeon variant
that does support T&L in hardware, that feature is not enabled by the
current DRI drivers. 

 Which card is "faster" depends on the speed of your processor, the
nature of your application, and the drivers. Someone could reasonably
say that on "X" machine, running "Y" application, with "Z" drivers, "A"
card is faster than "B" card. But if you bet your life that a Radeon VE
is faster than an MX400 for all, or even most, applications, you would
not live very long.
