You're talking about the OpenGL conformance tests. This is a test suite that tests correctness of some features in OpenGL. You have to sign a license arrangement with SGI to get access to them as it is part of the OpenGL branding process. Brian has a copy for his personal use with Mesa. The tests are not publically available. It may be possible for XFree86 to sign an agreement with SGI to get access to them. VA had worked out a zero cost arrangement with SGI. Realize there are some issues with this. If all you want is more tests to run with OpenGL they would work. You should realize their coverage of OpenGL is actually quite limited, so passing them doesn't tell you a lot. Also, you can only claim a specific set of binaries pass conformance. That means XFree could test their releases, but this would be useless to all the vendors, since they always repackage the release. Building a better test suite that is open would be a real benefit. That's what Glean is all about. I think there'd be more value in building out Glean than working with the OpenGL brand conformance tests. Building good tests can be challenging, but it might be a good project if someone is interested. - |Daryll _______________________________________________ Dri-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel
